What You’ll Do as a Business Development Representative (Remote)

As a key player in our growth, you’ll help us reach new clients through targeted outreach, thoughtful engagement, and structured lead conversion. This isn’t cold calling for the sake of it. You’ll use research, personalization, and strategic follow-ups to create real conversations that lead to booked appointments and new business opportunities.


Your Core Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Research

  • Build and maintain a list of prospects through LinkedIn, job boards, directories, and industry tools

  • Identify high-potential clients based on hiring patterns, business size, and industry fit

  • Qualify leads using set criteria like recruitment needs, budget, and remote team interest

Outreach & Engagement

  • Execute personalized outreach via email, LinkedIn, and other remote-friendly channels

  • Handle follow-ups with professionalism and persistence

  • Track communications and manage your lead pipeline using our CRM (HubSpot)

Appointment Booking

  • Secure meetings with decision-makers (Founders, HR Managers, Hiring Leaders)

  • Prepare briefs before meetings—highlighting their hiring pain points and how we can help

  • Occasionally join intro calls to establish trust and ensure a smooth handoff to senior sales

Pipeline & CRM Management

  • Log all lead activities, conversations, and status updates in the CRM

  • Provide detailed lead insights to the closing team

  • Help optimize outreach messaging by sharing what’s working (and what’s not)

Reporting & Performance

  • Submit weekly activity reports with clear metrics:

    • Leads reached out to

    • Appointments booked

    • Meetings attended (if applicable)

    • Lead-to-meeting conversion rate


What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • 1–2 years experience in outbound sales or business development (remote recruitment experience is a plus)

  • Strong writing and communication skills

  • Comfortable using tools like HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and QuickMail

  • A self-starter attitude—you work independently and follow through

  • Bonus: Experience in staffing, virtual assistance, or B2B services
